Scrapable is a free, open-source indie app, so it isn't paid into Apple's notarization program yet. macOS will ask you to confirm it's safe — this is normal. Here's the one-time step:
- Drag Scrapable into your Applications folder.
- Right-click (or Control-click) Scrapable → Open → Open.
- That's it — it opens normally every time after that.
Power user? Run xattr -cr /Applications/Scrapable.app in Terminal to clear the quarantine flag.

Is it really free?+
Yes — completely. No paywall, no account, no trial. Ko-fi is just an optional way to say thanks if you want to.
Why does my Mac say the app can't be opened?+
Because it isn't notarized yet (that costs $99/yr and this is a free hobby app). Right-click the app → Open → Open the first time, and it'll open normally after that. It's safe and open source.
Where's my data stored?+
Locally, on your device. Scrapable is local-first — your lists, notes, and pinned vibes never leave your machine.
Windows or web?+
There's a web version you can use right now in any browser. A Windows build isn't ready yet — it's on the honest someday list.
